The Art of Humberto Guanipa
Humberto Guanipa was born in Venezuela in 1954. He enrolled in the Air Forces in 1973 where he studied different types of drawing: Mechanical, Technical and Architectural. By 1977, he began to study Art in the city of Porlamar, Margarita Island for 3 years. Afterward, he returned to Valencia where he enrolled at Arturo Michelena School of Plastic Arts, for another 3 years. Searching for new horizons for his art, he moved to New York in 1982. Actually he resides in New Jersey
